About Us
Dedicated to compassionate, quality care since 1958, Cardiovascular Consultants Medical Group has established itself as one of the premier private practice physician groups on the West Coast. All of our cardiologists are board certified and have extensive experience in clinical cardiology and are dedicated to sharing their experience within the practice and the community to provide the best possible care for our patients. We maintain state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and medical equipment in our four clinical offices as well as a dedicated team of technicians, clinical and administrative support staff in order to provide a personalized, top notch cardiac care experience for each of our patients.
Cardiovascular Consultants Medical Group was formed in 1958 when two Stanford trained cardiologists, Dr. Leonard Haber and Dr. David Naruse, teamed up to become the first invasive cardiologists in the Northwestern Los Angeles area. Dr. Haber soon became the Director of Cardiology at what is now known as Providence Holy Cross Medical Center.
Throughout the 1960’s and 1970’s, these pioneering doctors participated in many cardiology firsts in the San Fernando Valley-they performed the first coronary angiography (cardiac catheterization) at Providence Holy Cross Hospital and the first open heart surgery, in association with cardiac surgeon Dr. John Briggs, at Valley Presbyterian Hospital. Another founding member of our group, Dr. Jack Patterson performed the first coronary intervention (PTCA-angioplasty) at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in the 1980’s.
Our practice continues to grow and advance the field of cardiology. With our talented electrophysiologists, nuclear cardiologists, structural heart interventionalists and preventative cardiology experts, our mission remains the same: to provide the best possible evidence-based cardiac care for our patients.

Kelli J. Nicholas, CMPE
Practice Administrator
Kelli J. Nicholas, CMPE, Practice Administrator, has led the team at Cardiovascular Consultants Medical Group for over two decades. She received her Board Certification from the American College of Medical Practice Executives in 2016 and was the inaugural Committee Chair for the American College of Cardiology Practice Administrators, Southern California. She is a member of the MGMA and in 2025 achieved a Principles of Practice Management Certificate, demonstrating exceptional foundational knowledge in the top domains of Healthcare Operations.
Kelli believes that patient care is our number one priority and strives to maintain a cutting-edge healthcare environment where every patient feels valued and cared for.

2026 - Dr. Sadrpour Expands Advanced Cardiac Imaging at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital
Dr. Shervin Sadrpour, Medical Director of the Electrophysiology Program at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, led the August 2026 launch of SoundStar ultrasonic catheter technology within the hospital’s Roberta G. Veloz Cardiovascular Services department. The system delivers real-time intracardiac ultrasound imaging, allowing physicians to visualize cardiac anatomy from inside the heart during selected catheter-based procedures and to guide, plan and assess complex cardiac interventions with greater precision. The addition means Santa Clarita Valley patients can receive this level of advanced cardiac care close to home.

2026 - Dr. Sinha Completes 400th TAVR
Dr. Abhishek Sinha hit a milestone with his 400th TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement) and his 200th at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital in 2026. His success in this innovative space is noteworthy and he continues to lead the field of structural heart expertise in the San Fernando Valley and beyond. While achieving 400 TAVRs is truly an impressive milestone, the patient lives he has changed with these 400 procedures is even greater.
