
Elaine Strizzi, N.P.
Elaine has been a registered nurse for over 25 years. Most of these years have been spent caring for patients with heart problems. She has worked with patients in various settings including the Intensive Care Unit and the Cardiac Rehabilitation program. In the outpatient setting Elaine originated a cardiac home care program specifically for patients with cardiac diagnoses.
Elaine received her Associate Degree in Nursing at Pasadena City College and her Bachelors of Science in Nursing form the University of Phoenix. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Nurse Practitioner program with a subspecialty in Acute Care (ACNP). She is board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Elaine is one of the co-authors of the Cardiac Education Book which is used at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center and Providence St. Joseph Medical Center. Currently she serves as a preceptor for UCLA Nurse Practitioner students.
