Matthew E. Schwinger

Matthew E. Schwinger, M.D., F.A.C.C.

Dr. Schwinger, a graduate of the University of Rochester in New York, received his medical education from New York Medical College. He completed his internal medicine training at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut, and his cardiology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. He completed an extra year of training in non-invasive cardiology at New York University Medical Center and went on to become an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Director of the Non-Invasive Cardiac Laboratory at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.

Dr. Schwinger has published many articles in the field of cardiovascular medicine. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Schwinger is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Internal Medicine, the Subspecialty Board of Cardiovascular Disease and the National Board of Echocardiography. He is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, the American Heart Association and the American College of Physicians. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography.
